The coastline North-West part of the island has many attractions including ''Petra tou Romiou'', Lara, Akamas Peninsula, Fontana Amoroza, Aphrodite's Baths , Adonis's Baths.The Akamas Peninsula is a spectacularly beautiful nature reserve - a specially protected area, rich in wildlife and which can be explored in a number of different ways.
There are many wonderful trails, for walking, cycling and driving.
On the north-west coast, the harbour and seaside villages of Latchi, Polis, Ayia Marina and Pomos are extremely pretty with their traditional fishing boats and taverns and here someone can hire speed boats for the day and join sailing and motorboat excursions down the coast of Chrysochous bay from Pomos into the Akamas.
